Creativity and Innovation Management

Creativity and innovation are widely recognised as one of the most important driving factors of our modern economies.

However, there are only few approaches on Creativity and Innovation Management.

Also systematic educational approaches are missing to promote related skills and competences at the interface of academia and business.

This is the starting point of the Erasmus+ project CIM in which 15 organisations from 9 countries collaborate in a European consortium of higher education institutions, enterprises and networks.

CIM aims to develop new teaching and study approaches for creativity and innovation management based on joint learning formats which connect higher education institutions and business organisations.

The project starts with a European wide survey on Creativity and Innovation Management in business and academia.

We would be grateful if you could spare approximately 15 minutes of your time to contribute to the survey. With your commitment you exclusively support the stock-taking and desk research of the CIM project and with it the development of education programmes for a more creative and innovative work force.

Advantages for you:

  • Higher education (HE) institutes will get direct insight in the latest developments in the business sector, they will be able to integrate flexible learning units in their formal curricula, and offer more attractive and personalised programmes
  • Enterprises and organisations will get into a direct work contact with their future employees or business partners – in addition to the students contributing to producing innovation within the organisation
  • Teachers and trainers may adopt new teaching techniques fostering creativity and innovation management
  • On the long run, enterprises will be able to contribute to the training in higher education institutions to better suit their practical needs, and get much better qualified job applicants

The online survey at hand consists of 6 parts:

  1. Introduction and statistical background data
  2. Understanding creativity and innovation
  3. Creativity and innovation related competences
  4. Acquisition of creativity and innovation related competences
  5. Assessment and recognition of competences
  6. Digital learning related competences

Thank you for contributing to our research and to a more creative and innovative education!
